This is a tribute page for my brave, beautiful, loving and caring mum, Kathleen Patricia Hickin. Wife to Dennis, a wonderful Nan to Matt and Tom, and a much-loved sister, Aunty, and friend to so many.   

Mum suffered a major stroke on 14th April 2015. She was left paralysed on her left-hand side and unable to walk again. In September 2015, she developed post-stroke seizures and, eventually, vascular dementia and dysphagia. She died in hospital from aspiration pneumonia on 1st April 2019.
